James Gundry
Group Managing Director

James started his career working for Bell Lawrie White in Edinburgh, Scotland's largest private client stock broking firm (now Brewin Dolphin Securities) initially in the Banking Division, supporting bank branch retail clients before moving to the Private Client Advisory Division and latterly as Assistant to the Director of the Investment Trust Management Service, managing discretionary portfolios for high net worth private clients.

In 1994, James moved to Hong Kong and joined Executive Access as a Research Associate before joining Michael Page International in 1995 as a Consultant in their Banking and Finance Division. He specialized in recruiting Finance and Operations professionals for leading international investment banks. In 1997, Robert Walters appointed James as Managing Director of their Hong Kong office.

In 1999, James founded Quest, specializing in the Banking, Insurance and IT sectors and remains with the firm today as Managing Director with oversight of Hong Kong and the Philippines businesses.

James' other business interests have included, Quest Research (Asia's largest pre-employment screening firm) as one of the founding partners, sold in 2005 to First Advantage (NASDAQ-listed company) and one of the founders of Integrascreen (a Global Due Diligence provider to Banks, Corporates and Governments) sold in 2009 to WorldCheck.

Rexanne Piad
Manager, Philippines

Rexanne has extensive recruitment experience with a focus of Accounting/Finance; Human Resources and Technology in both Financial Institutions and Commerce Industry in the Philippines. Prior joining Quest, Rexanne serves as a Senior Account Manager for SQL* Wizard for seven years. She was handling the financial services industry managed acccounts in insurance, banking, including financial institutions as well as public sectors. Rexanne holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Tourism from University of Philippines.
